Boat building is for kids of all ages every Wednesday & Saturday at 3:00 PM. The kids build their own boats with adult guidance. We provide the wood, nails, hammers, paint, and markers to build & name the boat. Then everyone goes to the river for the Big Race. Every kid cheers for their boat as they float down the river. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes are given. It a favorite Summer activity by many and draws huge crowds.
Movies in the Mountains
Family movies are shown every Wednesday night on a big screen at 8:00, when the sun goes down. The audience consists of local and tourist families who enjoy sitting on blankets or folding chairs, which are furnished or you may bring your own. The event is sponsored by a grant from Red River Valley Foundation and donations are appreciated.
